Senate shows us they represent lobbyists and not citizens

The American Dream is over folks. This shows that the Liberal Democrats are just as paid off by corporations as Conservative Republicans, and have just as little desire to represent the people. Maybe now more of you will join me

The Boy Scouts of America and Homosexuality

I recently came across a blog entry with scanned pages from the 1965 Boy Scout handbook. Some of those commenting mentioned that the book has a chapter concerning masturbation. One commenter included a quotation of one section

Obama shuts down US foreign torture prisons but still allows “rendition”

For those of you who don’t know, “rendition” is a pretty word for the secret abduction of Americans and others and flying them, off the record, of course, to undisclosed locations to be tortured. Pretty evil stuff for a country

I think we should release all non-violent drug offenders from the prisons and put the racists in there instead.

An American Carol – An Immature Slap In The Face To Those Who Speak Out Against Corruption

The movie does make a good point about the damage caused to our country
caused by a lack of morale and a lot of self-hating. However, instead of
wisely acknowledging that we should try and remember how important
it is to stand up for freedom and to protect ourselves from aggressors,
even if out patriotism is lacking while the present administration and
other forces in our government are lying, cheating, stealing, and killing
to further their own wealth, power, and political agendas, An American
Carol white-washes the entire situation to make it seem as if those who
are discontent are angry about nothing, and that everything is just fine,
and that we should quit thinking and questioning and instead just shut
up and blindly pledge our allegiance to whatever war that those in power
are currently profiting from.

Employers use MySpace & Facebook to pre-screen Applicants

It’s no surprise that companies are looking online, primarily at search engines and social networks, to find out more about job applicants, especially when we have more job seekers than jobs at present. There is a good and bad side

Right Wing Media Still Demonizing Obama

Apparently, Obama, who just got elected and has not taken any executive actions yet, is responsible for the economic recession we’ve been experiencing for some time now, among other things. Nutjobs like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are projecting the
