some films I think every high school student should see in school:

1984
because big brother is watching you closer every day…

Animal Farm
find out how the pigs and dogs control your sheepish ass…

The Atomic Cafe
see your own government test radiation on it’s soldiers…

Who Killed The Electric Car?
find out about the first time we went green, and how we went back in black

An Inconvenient Truth
watch the planet crumble under the oil companies’ feet…

The Corporation
learn how business took advantage of abolition to create entities with rights but no responsibilities…

Bowling For Columbine
marvel at the irony of a war mongering nation wondering why it’s kids are violent and question why “they” want you to live in fear…

Farenheit 9/11
observe, as the US government accomplishes yet another war-starter…

Sicko
see how horrible it is in other countries where all people get medicine and surgeries for cheap or free which you could never pay for…

Supersize Me
stare on in disbelief as you and your countrymen are fed for slaughter…

Thank You For Smoking
giggle in amusement at how the legal smokes kill you, and ask yourself why marijuana is banned for making you tired or hungry or putting you in a good mood…

Fast Food Nation
check out the wonderful conditions of the animals you eat and the workers who prep them for you…

Office Space
check into prison, umm, i mean, life after school: WORK!

Idiocracy
gaze in slack-jawed confusion at the future of country and it’s sad, doomed, media-satiated, stupid populace…

Team America: World Police
laugh your ass off at the true story of the US’ bumbling attempts at global policing…

Lawrence Of Arabia / Dances With Wolves / Schindler’s List / The Last Samurai
see how sometimes the side you start out on isn’t the right one…

Gandhi / Malcolm X / JFK / Imagine: John Lennon / Who Killed Martin Luther King?
See how when you fight for peace, the war-makers kill you!

I am a logical, open-minded, liberal, progressive, radical, green, independent individual living in the heart of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, amongst apparently brainwashed conservative southern Baptist Republican zombies. I'm tired of the lies of the government and their media mouthpieces and their corporate masters. I'm tired of the cheating and the stealing and the killing. I'm ready for the future. But the only way we are going to fix things is to all band together and say NO MORE! We have to start punishing the rich white collar criminals as harshly as the poor black blue-collar criminals, if not more so. And I'm tired of cults (AKA religions). They are dangerous, divisive, and delusional. We should evolve past religions towards a global humanitarian ethics. We should move away from a new world order and get back to city states with local democracy, power, food, and water.
